Latest update ruins this former go-to game

Latest update — supposedly to improve user experience — is really to modify ad visibility and frequency to the point that playing this game is painful — like poking my finger in my eyes. I dont have any confidence that the 99¢ version will be any better. I have played this version for years and enjoyed the simplicity but wont be playing any longer. Why not add a button to pay to remove the ads?
